its Marriage Lines with Prunella Scales..

So you are drawing cartoons on the topic of marriage?

It is the Kinks..well done Norman

My Dads favourite song is Waterloo Sunset..he did a painting of it..

I can't see the conection between the two...same era..

Margo and Jerry are mentioned in a Kinks song - can't remember the title and weren't those names used in Richard Briars sitcom, THE GOOD LIFE?

So the chap in your original post is original Kinks founder Dave Davies and a bit of googling shows me that the link between Richard Briers and Dave Davies is this:
