After several months Channel 4 finally did their Beano piece about focus groups with CEO Emma Scott bigging up the brand and reassuring parents. Meanwhile Jon Snow (no, obviously
not that one) used the M word and our hurridly drawn, probably only to languish on the shelf and not used anyway
comic strip, was not used anyway. So here it is, exclusively. Written by Nigel Auchterlounie, drawn by me.

'Scuse my ignorance, NP, but what's that 'pocket'-thingy on Dennis's trousers? (A pocket maybe?) And does he really say 'Dude' these days? Oh dear. He's not the Dennis I knew. Y'know, in retrospect, introducing Gnasher probably limited the stories in some way. I think I'd have preferred to see him used more sparingly, as I got more laughs out of the strip pre-Gnasher. What's your own view? (If you don't mind sharing.)
The pocket was introduced so he had somewhere to pull his catapult from. But more recently, I've hidden it by making it black.
Gnasher isn't always used, and he does limit what Dennis can do sometimes, but that's dogs for you.
