Dan gets Desperate
Dudley D Watkins, the emperor of D C Thomson back in 1939, with a fine early example of why Dan is the toughest cowboy of them all. (From the original art board).
Also I recieved a Harry Hill script from Sean Baldwin for my comic fanzine and it's really intresting to see how the original script just seems so different from you draw! Brilliant!
It's interesting to see that not only did the art style change over the years but Dan's personality became less brutal as well. Excellent stuff Nigel. Thanks for showing that.

Did you get the big 'The Legend of Desperate Dan' book a few years ago, NP? It's a belter. There was a Lord Snooty one too. They're well worth having.
