I'd really love to be able to buy the BeanoMAX, but I just can't afford it. I'm already stretching the budget by buying both the Beano and the Dandy every week, and an extra £3.50 every month simply isn't going to happen.
I did buy a couple of issues some years ago as an experiment, and I drew the conclusion that I was effectively paying more and getting less. But if the price has gone up all that far then I don't see that I'm going to be able to buy it, full stop.
Shame, because it used to be home to Derek the Sheep, and looks set to become the home of Super School, but unless DC Thomson makes it better value then the cold financial realities facing all of us will keep sales suppressed.

Out today in fact! :)
That is an incredible image.
Very good stuff Nigel, really enjoyed reading the comic strip, a lot of neat detail as well as amazing artwork. :)

Good grief, Swirly, what a pain in the bum you are. What's all that got to do with Nigel's excellent artwork? Can't you just compliment him on that?
