Back!!!
Sometimes you get to draw an old friend- I'm glad to say that mini-est of Menaces is back next week with a brand new mini-strip in The Beano! I drew Bea from 1998 until 2009, 11 years in which Bea aged about six months!
True, I know you don't get paid for reprints, but at least readers get to see what they may have missed.
They did switch the Beano and Dandy references around - though it results in one originally Beano-bashing joke now saying that Harry doesn't want the shame of having his picture in next week's Dandy... when there isn't a next week's Dandy anyway! It totally changed the meaning of the joke.
Yes, they weren't the pages I'd have chosen anyway. Half of them are so out of date I'd have to change them (pictures as well as dialogue) if I reprinted them somewhere else- which I intend to.
